Daffodils are the most cost effective, pest free, long term perrenial bulbs available. They make wonderful companions with other bulbs, perennials, annuals, and flowering or edible shrubs of dwarf fruit trees. They grow in almost all areas of the United States as long as there is a discernable winter. Daffodils should be planted in full sun or at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Planting depth is 3 times the height of the bulb (3-8 inches), space 6 inches apart. Provide a humousy, well-drained soil, enriched with bone meal. Apply 2-3 inches mulch in cold winter areas. Allow leaves to die back naturally following bloom. Our daffodil bulbs are grown in Elma, Washington.
