Raspberry disappointment

I already wrote to customer service about this, I received the plants in very dry condition, three out of the five bare-root starts were bone dry even though all wrapped in damp paper which to me indicated the dry ones had been out of the ground longer than they should have been. I planted them the next day after receipt and am waiting to see some sign of life.
