HW 272 Peach
Prunus persica
Consistently high marks from fruit researchers at the WSU Mt. Vernon station have prompted us to get permission from Canada to offer this numbered selection. HW 272 is a very flavorful, reliable and heavy-bearing peach from the frigid lands of Harrow Station, Ontario. It is consistently productive in Western Washington.
Ripens for us in August, it's a vivid beauty with pale yellow skin and pronounced scarlet blush plus tasty, freestone, yellow flesh. It has a low incidence of split pits. Patented by Ag. Canada.
