Blue Moon Honeyberry (Fall)
(Lonicera caerulea var.edulis) This attractive bush grows quickly to about 5' tall and produces delicious teardrop shaped, light blue fruit in late spring or early summer. The small flowers are white and funnel shaped. Both the fruit and the bush look somewhat like blueberries. Minimal pruning is required, just remove overlapping and weak branches. A later blooming variety of Blue Honeysuckle, this variety will produce reliably in the Pacific Northwest when pollenized by Blue Velvet™ (FD729), Blue Pacific™ (FD730) or Kamchatka™ (FD731).
