Bob Gordon Eldereberry One Qt Pot/ Fall

(Sambucus canadensis) Bob Gordon selected this very productive cultivar with large clusters of flavorful purple berries in 1999 in Osceola Missouri and it has become a staple of a regional Elderberry growing industry. This variety grows 8' or more tall and is loaded each summer (mid-July in Missouri) with large clusters of fruit. USDA Zones 4-9. You can choose to cut the bush to the ground each winter to control its size and each year it will produce fruit on first year wood. Select another S canadensis as a pollinizer.
