Fall gold raspberries

All of the plants have died, I am thinking that it was too late to ship bareroot plants like this— I am an experienced farmer and I just wanted to add a new variety to my new bed, I don’t think I will have them shipped again. I am disappointed but understand that this is a risky way to buy plant material especially when it was shipped so late in the season. They arrived looking okay and I planted them immediately in a beautiful raised bed...
