Reine de Mirabelle/St Julian - [SPRING]
Translated as Queen of the Mirabelle's, it is larger than the others and has yellow skin and superb flavor. It ripens a week or two after the other Mirabelles. It is prized in Europe as a culinary plum, for fresh eating and for luscious preserves. It may be a cross of a Mirabelle and a Gage plum.
