Prunus persica var. neupersica 'Kreibich'

The only nectarine to grow in Western WA! Discovered by Roland Kreibich in western Washington state, this flavorful favorite bears loads of small-to-medium, white-fleshed, juicy fruits with an extreme palette of flavors, from sugar sweet through to tangy tart. While it can be prone to splitting after late summer rain, for growers in dry summer regions this is a flavor explosion. Pick just slightly unripe, when skins still show a hint of green, then mature on the counter until perfectly ripe or use for preserves, pickles or chutney.

Peach leaf curl resistant and the best choice for shorter summer areas, as well as an early ripener for growers with long, hot summers.

Hardy to: USDA zone 5
