Chestnuts are majestic trees which live hundreds of years and each produces hundreds of pounds of nuts each year. All of our grafted chestnut trees are vigorous, productive varieties proven to be reliable producers. Some of the heaviest yields and biggest nuts will come from the varieties that are pollen sterile, and these MUST be pollinized by varieties that are listed as reliable pollen producers. If the disease chestnut blight is a problem where you are (and many locations east of the Rocky Mountains struggle with chestnut blight), please choose pairs of trees marked "blight resistant".
All of our grafted chestnut trees should start flowering and producing nuts in 3-4 years from planting.
USDA Prohibits shipping chestnuts to Arizona.
