This tall, sturdy variety of Sambucus offers intense, deep-black foliage, which stands out against other plants in the garden. Its texture is similar to that of a Japanese maple, providing a delicate, airy feel. During summer, it produces a two-toned pink flower, followed by purple berries in autumn. Hardy, durable, and requires very little maintenance.
