Speckled Egg Nectarine

Very healthy, feathered trees arrived just as they were breaking dormancy. Stone fruit trees can be a little pouty when they’ve been uprooted, and the one tree I’ve ordered from Raintree in the past that never awakened was replaced with another healthy tree. I have been ordering from them for several years and have been happy with their trees and service.

The central leader of this tree was split upon arrival and the split was already pretty dry so I opted to just try for an open vase shape from the beginning using the side branches. We'll see if it survives and does what I want it to.
