Combo Asian Pear Tree (4 varieties)

My tree arrived in good and healthy condition. I have one branch that came almost snapped but thats not raintree's fault but the delivery. I am a nurse so, if I can patch up patients, I definitely can do the same to my trees. lol. Here's one of the branches wrapped with coban bandage.. I think it's gonna survive.. I see new growth coming out from the branch. I bought a bare root combo asian pear.. I dont expect mine to fruit in the next 2 years.. i will make sure to strenghten the roots and focus on trunk and branches for the first 2 years. I am so excited!

I looked forward to the arrival of the Asian 4 in 1 tree,and 3 other trees.

To my disappointment all 3 trees were bound together with hardly any gel in the bag. The Asian pear tree had 5 broken roots, and I noticed the spindly roots. I've bought bare root trees before but these were "barely" any roots.

So I will keep an eye on them, hopefully it's fine. I really hope Raintree isn't joining the trend of cutting costs and delivering poor quality to consumers.

I made an order for about 15 trees and plants that included this combo tree. The shipping box was absolutely stuffed full and the packaging was easily the worst I've ever had from mail order purchases and we purchase 2-3k in plants via mail a year. The roots on this tree were exposed and the grafted branches snapped and broken. I ended up soaking it for several hours and giving it an unfortunate prune to mitigate the damage. It's in the ground now with some rooting hormone dusted on. It hasn't leafed after a couple of weeks, and I would be surprised it will.

I wasn't going to write the poor review, but I get so much email from this company asking for reviews I figured I should share.

Received all three, all dormant. Planted in the best mixed of loveliness for the best start. Boom all look like they are starting to show life! I can’t wait for my bount of gorgeous fruit 😋

Seems to be well branched with some budding starting. Some tags don’t show fruit type so it will be a surprise. Used IV Organic on it. Planted it right away. Have clay soil so dug wide hole and amended soil and drainage. Would like to have info on watering schedule for clay zone 7.

One of the variety came broken and Raintree had the nerve to issue a $19.99 credit without any credit for shipping. Now I need to pay another $60 to ship another pear tree? How is that reasonable?! Save your money and get the one variety to save yourself the trouble. These small branches were grafted onto the main tree and are very flimsy.

Perfect condition large specimen grafted tree had an extra graft attached. The roots had a special packing gel so they weren’t dried out.
I already planted it, and the buds are coming out.

super tight limb angles, and hacked off roots to fit in box. definitely pales before FEDCO's standards, but the only place I can find a 4x asian pear. If not for that, I'd not be a fan

It's only been a week since I planted this little bare root Asian pear, but it has already put out leaves and looks amazing. Unfortunately I lost one of the grafts the day after planting when a critter tried to munch on the lowest graft snapping it in two, but that's no fault of the nursery.

A beautiful, healthy bare root. Large diameter rootstock all the grafts were well healed and had buds. Started budding out as soon as I got it planted. Very satisfied

The tree arrived in good shape and looks great. It is well hydrated with some light soil slurry in it. And I'm new to bare root tree, so I had question as how deep to plant it. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase. Thank you!

I have purchased trees n plants from multiple online nurseries by far raintree nurseries is head and shoulders above the rest … the trees are packed well the main trunks are by far thicker than any other nurseries and there are more lateral branches on raintrees stock … I have read reviews about there return policy being great but I’ve yet to have to return any stock … just ordered grafted Asian pears n all grafts are solid and spaced properly. Ty raintree for putting out quality product

Pre-ordered this tree, and when it arrived, it actually had five different varieties, per the tags on the branches. It arrived in great shape and we were able to plant right away. There were buds starting right after we planted it. We live in central Kentucky and have heard that Asian pears can do well here, so we’re hopeful.

Jerry was delivered very healthy and packaged securely. Very excited to see the final results.

This is my second Asian pear from raintree nursery. I love them! This sapling came at the right time to plant, healthy, well pruned and varieties clearly marked.

Good for a year then dead for fire blight. Not the nursery issue, I guess it is just the problem of the variety not friendly for new grower.

Received packed very well. Replanted and already buds started to appear. Looking forward to many fruitful years

This is the fifth tree I've ordered from you. They've all come in exactly when they were supposed to. I'll come in box so beautifully with information and closed that was very helpful. The trees are so healthy. It is such a pleasure dealing with such a wonderful company

I just planted it last month and it is fruiting now. Not sure if the 10 little pears will last to harvest or not. But it is fruiting!!!! What a surprise.
