This large freestone fruit is also called 'Dinosaur Egg'. When the incredibly sweet and delicious red and white flesh is ripe, the yellow/green skin turns a dappled maroon and yellow. A frequent taste test winner for its distinct Plum-Apricot flavor.

Dandy is a good pollinizer for Pluot varieties and among the most widely adaptable to colder climates. Thin the fruit so it doesn't overset and become biennial. Chill hours 300-400.

Leafed out within days

The tree arrived on schedule. I soaked the roots in water overnight and heavily pruned back the leading stem. Within less than a week the tree had leafed out. I am very impressed. Thank you!

First time we bought a bare root tree, it’s a learning process.

Received this tree as a bare root stick, straight trunk and good roots but no branches. Planted it hoping to see life. Two weeks after planting there are numerous signs of life, dozens of active buds and little leafs. Will be interesting to see how it develops into a full & productive tree, and in a few years hopefully we will have fruit. We had this kind of tree before and absolutely loved the pluots.

Received a stick wi one branch maybe a half inch long. Don’t see any leafing yet.

OMG what a great tree

Like the other trees I have bought here These are the best bare root trees I have ever bought. They are about four or five 4 1/2 feet tall. They came in a very well packed box. The roots were clean, the limbs are in bud, and everything just looks so healthy it was so easy to incorporate into my orchard. I will not buy a tree ever again except from Raintree!
