Hollywood Asian Plum

My Hollywood plum tree arrived in good shape. The roots came with a wet gel on them and were still wet. I like the way they wrap and ship bare root trees. I soaked it in water for a couple hours and planted it. I could see the buds getting bigger within a week. After a month leaves are popping out.

The plum has only been in the ground for a week and is already leafed out and looking good.

It was slow to come out of dormancy, but is now flourishing. I love the red leaves!

I received my plum tree in a very healthy, dormant condition. Once I got it planted, it just took off! It leafed out beautifully and I can’t wait for it’s first fruit season in a year or two!

We had ordered a Hollywood plum last year from a different nursery. Went back this year to order another because we liked it so much and it was out of stock. We took a chance on Rain Tree Nursery and we are happy we did. Both the Hollywood Plum and the Lang Jujube came packaged well and were healthy looking out of the box. They have been in the ground for over a week and already have new growth. Very pleased.

This is the second tree in the last year that came with damaged roots. The other one, a nectarine, finally pulled through but is struggling despite my careful attention. This one never leafed out and has dried up despite my very carful care.
I've gotten 7 trees fro Raintree with only these two having issues with how they were packed. The other 5 grew great from the get go. Very disappointing to pay over $100 and get a tree that didn't have much of a chance due to how it was packed.

This is the only tree that hasn’t leafed out yet it looks very different from all my other Asian plum trees but I’m not sure at this point if it is alive or not. I’m still giving the full five stars because I’ve not had any issues with any Raintree products and know that if there is an issue with it that they will make it right. Hopefully it’s just taking a little longer to wake up.

Plant had big healthy roots, and perfect crotch angles on the scaffold branches, at good heights. Overall great Value.

I was so excited to find this plum tree - my neighbor had one - cut it down for a remodel - fruit is approx. the size of a golf ball - beyond delicious - nice Asian plum sweet/tart flavor - tree is planted in Chelan, WA - cold winters - hot summers - fruit ripened around 8/15- buy one - you will love with it -might take a couple of years to fruit - well worth the wait!!!!!

Fantastic! The trees arrived in good condition. They were immediately put into big pits in our greenhouse and, within 3 days, the trees began to leaf out! We have purchased a lot of trees, but in the future all of our purchases (if the have what we want) will be from Raintree!! Great trees, thank you!!

This tree arrived in good shape. I got it in the ground as soon as possible and it appears to be budding now. Not expecting fruit for a few years though. So far, so good.

This is my favorite! You can thin the abundant fruits to make the resulting plums larger.
