Pyrus communis 'Honeysweet'

You will love the sweetly rich flavor and silky smoothness of Honeysweet! A smooth, buttery pear, similar in texture to the well-known Seckel pear, but larger; Honeysweet ripens to a golden russet. While it resembles a "summer"-style pear, it does require several weeks of cold storage to fully ripen after being picked mature off the tree in late summer, just after Bartlett.

Trees will set fruit without a pollinizer, but fruit will be bigger if cross-pollinated. Honeysweet is resistant to fireblight and to leaf spotting diseases, making it great for home gardens and local markets.

Tree died Arrived and planted like all the others

Tree died
Arrived and planted like all the others.
Just as soon as leaves appeared and couple buds the leaves turned black.
Warranty is horrible for price of trees.

And some of the trees that were purchased as 3-4’ arrived as a twig.
I paid premium for larger peach trees and was shipped including roots, 16”.
Tree has grown 3 inches is all this season so we removed about 1/2 the trees I bought from raintree and replaced Fri other suppliers.
Trees were same price but thriving.
And arrived 5’ when paid for 5’.

I will never return to purchase another products after purchasing from others.
And also, communication was HORRRIBLE.

Honeysweet pear

Tree was a lot smaller than the I thought it would be, but I have high hopes that it will work out in a few years. It only had one branch but I'm hopeful

Tree arrived in great condition, but was a little disappointed that it only had 2 branches. Have ordered several tree's and this is the only one I wasn't completely happy with.
