Illinois Everbearing Mulberry

Plant looked healthy and was planted. Hope to see it showing progress soon. Support team has responded on a timely bases.

I have been a long time customer but plan to look for other options for future purchases.

The tree arrived in wonderful condition. The bare roots were nice and wet considering how far they had to travel. Soaked in a five gallon pail overnight and planted the following day. We have been experiencing below normal temps and above average rainfall. Perfect time to plant some trees. The trees are still budding out and should probably have leaves in a week or so.

i bought the 1 gallon variety of this tree. It came in great condition and started rocketing off immediately after planting. i ended up getting 8 berries off of it in the 1st year after planting that to me tasted like a very rich plum. Highly recommend.

It survived a very hot utah summer its first year. Was put in the ground in heavy clay, akaline soil. It didn't grow much the first year, gained about 1ft or so. Second year it gained 3ft with about a small bowl worth of mulberries. Leaves get a bit scorched in 100F, but tree is unaffected and generally healthy.

The fruit grows on the branches that emerges from the buds in spring. If you want a lot of fruit, wait for summer to prune for size.

After two growing seasons, the 1 gallon tree grew to 1" in caliber. I expect it to double every year at this rate.

My Illinois Everbearing Mulberry arrived potted and in good shape. Still moist. I planted it the next day with the help of my caring husband, (who does all the work!). I will carefully fertilize it in the Spring when it starts to show growth.

This tree was a very small start with well developed roots. Hopefully it grows well.

It’s only the first season, and it’s a very small plant at this time and yet I was able to pick three ripe mulberries! Tasty too!

We planted our mulberry tree a day after we got it in May. As of the beginning of July it has a few leaves in the bottom 3" and that's all. I have gotten dozens of bushes and trees on line and this isn't what I expected.

I got my 3 tall mulberry trees well-rooted, they were packaged great. They seem happy as they are budding out now. I will order again from Raintree for sure!

I’ve grown this tree at my last home and absolutely loved the constant fruit. My grandkids look forward to each summer and eating them. I could not be happier.

I've had an Illinois Everbearing for over ten years in my garden. It is a MUST have tree. I have it in half day sun, never water it, and it fruits reliably every year from July through September. Everyone that comes to my garden surprised by how good the flavor is (like a really good blackberry - but better). I wish it produced more fruit - I suppose you could always plant two! I live West of the Cascades in a winter wet/summer dry climate. When there are enough berries, I like to freeze them and then eat them like mini popsickles later on in the year.

Order arrived in a perfect condition. I put it in ground right away. Root system were in a perfect condition on my mulberry trees ( got two different kind Illinois and beautiful day ) also got a thornless blackberry as well. If they don t survive which I don t see why they would not it would be my poor gardening skills.

Got one a few years ago. Grows like a monster. Produces delicious berries for a long time. Got it to distract the birds from the other berries in the yard. They call that extortion. Got another one this year (2022) because we liked the first one so much.

Our 12 yr. old Illinoise Everbearing Mulberry tree is one of our favorite fruit trees. It fruits at a fairly young age. The fruit is quit long and sweet. It seems to be pest free and has been easy for us to grow and our soil has a fair amount of clay in it. It seems to be loaded with more fruit than a couple of our other varieties of mulberries.

I have had this tree since spring 2021. I live in a very harsh desert yet this tree is thriving. It even set fruit.
