Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Maria's Gold'

The pure, golden skin and flesh of this juicy, richly-flavored nectarine have a delicious balance of sweetness and acidity. This variety is named after Russian horticulturist Dr. Maria Plekhanova and was selected by CRFG member Andy Mariani from seeds brought back from Uzbekistan. It is typical of the exotic, fabled 'Golden Peaches of Samarkand.'

A $1 royalty is included to support the work done by Andy and the California Rare Fruit Growers Hybridizer's Group, which is dedicated to developing superior stone fruit varieties for home gardeners.

Thank you Raintree for making my garden beautiful

Absolutely the best looking/ thriving tree I have received in the two year I have been building my garden/orchard. You beat Bob Wells nursery which was tough as they have great products as well. I have order many products from many nurseries and with your variety and quality I name you the winner!! As my garden is now complete with over 30 varieties of fruit trees and well over 200 berry cultivars.

Can’t wait

The tree arrived well packed and beautifully pruned. It’s been planted and now I’m waiting for it to bloom and (hopefully) bear fruit.
