Pucia Super Mol Medlar

Arrived without any packing to protect the roots other than plastic bag. Roots were mostly dry. Every bare root tree I ever bought had something, moss, newspaper, hydrogel, to keep the roots moist. Root mass was good and the tree good sized. When I contacted Raintree they said it was not covered by a warranty since it was BOGO.
Too early to tell if the tree will survive.

Just received my medlar trees. Appear to be in Excellent condition. Strong and healthy trunk and roots. My experience with rain tree nursery stock has been better than expected and I would recommend them as a premium provider of nursery dtock.

Never leafed out and died despite care, 4 out of 5 trees ordered last year died. All 5 never leafed out last year but some how one did this spring the rest were crispy twigs after winter dried them out

Tree looks in excellent health.

Arrived in good condition after several days crossing to the east coast. Tree looks good and sturdy ready to grow well. Will have to wait and see how it does long term.

Received my 2 different medlars and black tartarian cherry in peak condition. Also go them in the ground same day since we are to get some heavy rain upcoming. Looking forward to this unique experience and journey and hopefully many years more.

I've never seen a medlar, so planting one is a complete shot in the dark. It arrived in excellent condition and has been planted. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I like it!

Can you grow Medlars in Minnesota? Which variety is most cold hardy?
