'Sweetie Pie' is a new blackberry cultivar with thornless canes and an erect growth pattern. Developed and released by the USDA-ARS Thad Cochran Southern Horticultural Laboratory (TCSHL) in Missouri, this variety is perfect for mid-ripening seasons. Its berries are known for their high quality, tender texture, and exceptional, sweet flavor, making it a great choice for local fresh market growers, U-Pick farm operations, and homeowners in the Gulf Coast region of the U.S. 

Well-suited to hot and humid summer conditions, but also reliably cold hardy. Resistant to rosette disease.
