In late August of each year, trees in English gardens overflow with these incredibly productive, colorful large oval pink plums formally classified as part of the Lombard class of plums. The flesh is a golden yellow and sweet. It is self fertile, freestone and prized for canning and jam. A seedling found in Sussex in 1840, it is England’s most widely planted plum. Now Americans can enjoy it too.

Exceptionally hardy and productive.

Beautiful plums

The tree established itself easily after planting and has been trouble-free. In its second season, it put on lots of growth and produced 6 delicious plums, which ripened late August / early September. The fruit has gorgeous pinkish-magenta skin, just like in the photo, and the flesh is orange.

Beautiful Bare Root Tree

Best looking fruit tree I have ever ordered online. Graft looks terrific.
The tree is thriving very well. It has sent out numerous green shoots.
It even produced three blossoms. You obviously take great care in the
trees you produce. Thank You!

My bareroot Victoria plum tree arrived in great shape!

My bareroot Victoria plum tree arrived in great shape. Planted it immediately on a mound. In a few days I noticed it had came to life and was producing buds. It's planted next to a Italian plum, can't wait to see how the two young trees do over the years...so far great!

Great tree. Roots were still moist when it arrived

Roots were still moist when it arrived. The tree looks healthy and happy where I planted it. Thanks for the instructions that came with the tree. This tree replaces the tree I got from my grandmother when we bought our first home in 1978. The wind took it out a couple of years ago but I just missed it so much. My grandmother taught us as children to shake the tree to harvest the ripe fruit.

arrived in great condition

Of course it is too soon to know about the growth rate and the fruit production, but step 1 is great - the roots were in nicely wet mud, well packaged. The tree is skinny of course - it's young, but looks healthy. The planting directions were very specific and clear. It will be a couple of years before I will have more to say.

Looking good!

This bare root Victoria plum arrived in good condition and is doing well after planting. I grew up with a Victoria plum tree (in Scotland) and I can't wait to taste the fruits. I wonder how long it will take?

Received my beautiful Victoria European plum tree Thu Apr. 25 2024 It was packed well to prevent any damage from shipping arrive in excellent condition. The tree itself was a dormant barefoot about 5 ft, four branch pruned vase shape. Soaked and planted according to the instruction. It is may 21 2024 here in P.N.W and my tree already had very nice green leaves. . I highly recommend Raintree Nursery Thanks.

Strong, healthy bare root Victoria plum appreciated

When I arrived in the rain and hail to pick up my Victoria plum, a nice man went and got my single item before starting to process a large order for an earlier customer (he asked that person if OK first).
The tree was well wrapped and looked sturdy, and was taller than expected. I followed directions in the helpful Raintree videos to plant the tree. One month after planting the first leaf buds began to appear. I'm excited about this healthy addition to our orchard. Put up fencing around it as those vigorous leaves will appeal to the deer , too.

Victoria Plums

My wife and I bought a Victoria Plum tree from your nursery about 20 years ago and planted it in Sequim, Wa.
It is a winner--delicious purple plums with a golden inside. Just take from tree and devour -- it makes your day!!
