This round, brown-skinned fruit is crisp and juicy with an outstanding butterscotch flavor.

Easy to grow and prolific, it sets a heavy crop of medium to large-size, crisp, sweet fruit on a vigorous, pseudomonas and fireblight-resistant tree.

Both trees have died with regular watering. They began to bloom when planted then within a week those leaves died. Both trees are solid black. I don’t know what went wrong. Two apple trees planted at the same time from another nursery are doing well still. I was really excited about these varieties.

Could be better

The tree was small, I would liked to see at least 5/8th trunk size. I'm sure the tree will be just fine, but I like a full two year headstart on my trees when I buy them.

Update 4/12/2026, tree is dead, will need a replacement
