QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • How wide do these get? How far apart should they be planted?

This is a non-dwarfing varietal, and can get up to 30' tall. We recommend spacing them 30' apart.

  • If I ordered the kokuso Korean mulberry, when would it ship and when is the best time to plant in zone 5?

It will ship in spring of 2023 and we won't ship it to your area until it's time to plant.

Interesting

I purchased a few varieties: Illinois everbearing-which didnt survive late spring frost and now suckers from root(unsure if was grafted to let grow), the beautiful day white mulberry-which grew much slower than the others but is filling out beautifully, and this. What an awkward tree. It came as a single long stick/whip. Never ended up branching, but finally leaves covered it. Its 9ft+ tall and has zero limbs, just a tall weird stick. No fruit, no limbs and I planted in 2022 and its Aug of 2023. I would not buy this one again. I am on the border of 6b/7a
