Prunus armenica 'Gold Kist'

These plum-sized, orange, freestone fruits, originally from California in the 1960's, are the first apricots to ripen each season. The firm orange flesh is delicious eaten fresh or dried.  What a great way to extend your harvest!

Only 300 chill hours needed to reliably bloom and set large quantities of fruit. Especially well-suited for warm climates. Blooms early; not for growers with variable spring weather.

Exceeded expectations

Disappointed but wow was I surprised!

Disappointed. It came not looking like much. I planted it in a pot and now it has really come to life. Leaves and new branches everywhere!! I'd but again!!

Unfortunately it died within a coiple of months. It got a disease common to apricots & I couldn't control it.

Excellent as ever

Our bareroot apricot arrived at the end of the planting season, naked from top to bottom. Just a couple of weeks later, it’s leafing out exactly as it should. We are so pleased with this new addition to our orchard. Many thanks for yet another great transaction!

The tree arrived promptly. With the help of your horticulturist s video on planting bare root trees, I dug the hole and put my tree in its new home in my back yard. Time will tell, but I m happy so far.
