A scab immune and mildew resistant apple that each year provides a heavy crop at Raintree midseason, in late September, on a sturdy, well-branched tree. On EMLA 26 dwarf rootstock

First Crop is delicious!

I planted this Shay apple, never having tasted one. Just picked my first crop and they are delicious - sour, sweet, and crisp. Great eating fresh, but sour enough that I might try them in a pie as well. I'm in western Wahington.
