Morus macroura 'Pakistan'

Not only is the taste of the huge, 3-inch-long berries sweet and complex, but they are good in the red stage as well as when purple/black and fully ripe. A slightly thicker skin keeps the fruits from releasing their inky juice all over your fingers! A productive, spreading tree with large, heart-shaped leaves, this mulberry ripens for us in the cool summers of Western WA; it's also a favorite for areas with long, hot and humid summers.  From Islamabad.

Raintree is the best

Buy with confidence! The tree arrived in excellent condition. It's been almost three month and the tree is doing well even during the extremely hot days of West Texas summer. We had to cover the stem with cloth and periodically wet it with water to help the tree cope.

This fruit tree is absolutely delicious

I have had a Pakistan mulberry in the past. It’s just a beautiful tree. The berries are big and have a distinct flavor, they just have the right amount of sweetness to make your day. I used to invite my friends for berry pick up day. It was fun, loved
It. I plan to do so when my new mulberry is ready. The desert tortoises love the leaves, are edible and harmless, and of course the berries too. What’s not to love about this tree???!!!
