Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Maria's Gold'

The pure, golden skin and flesh of this juicy, richly-flavored nectarine have a delicious balance of sweetness and acidity. This variety is named after Russian horticulturist Dr. Maria Plekhanova and was selected by CRFG member Andy Mariani from seeds brought back from Uzbekistan. It is typical of the exotic, fabled 'Golden Peaches of Samarkand.'

A $1 royalty is included to support the work done by Andy and the California Rare Fruit Growers Hybridizer's Group, which is dedicated to developing superior stone fruit varieties for home gardeners.

Can’t wait

The tree arrived well packed and beautifully pruned. It’s been planted and now I’m waiting for it to bloom and (hopefully) bear fruit.

It showed up looking healthy with nice buds but we'll see if it buds out this year..Last years never budded out but I could've soaked it to long I suppose.

Was sent to me dead and it never leafed out. I waited to see if it would break dormancy or push buds anywhere (past the refund period) so I will likely not get a refund either
