Pink Cloud Crabapple
Malus domestica 'Pink Cloud'
Having Pink Cloud is like having a tree covered with roses. Discovered by Ed Lewis of Bellevue, Washington, Pink Cloud's buds are very large, rounded, magenta pink, on long stems, opening to light pink fragrant, fully double flowers, profuse, very attractive, like miniature roses.
Pink Cloud has a vase-like shape and bronze-green leaves and is loaded with one inch red crab Apple, that persist into winter and that can be used to make a tart jelly -- if you get them before the birds do.
