Good quince root stock!

I grafted Smyrna quince scions to four of these rootstocks last spring. All took beautifully. I now have four young grafted trees 4 feet tall. Good root stock!

Quince grafting

They came in a timely way, were well packaged, including kept healthy, yet were pretty easy to remove from said packaging so I could take them (the 1/4th to 1/2 inch diameter seedlings) out for planting and later grafting. A picture of one of said newly grafted trees shown.

Best Quince Rootstock

I like the vigor of the quince rootstock for semi-dwarf pears, which is better than OHxF333. Also, Province is more fire blight resistant than Quince A.
