Rubus idaeus 'Heritage'

Please note this product is sold in bundles of 3 only.

This flavorful everbearing variety is very productive, with medium-to-large, firm, light red fruit. It produces from midsummer into fall on vigorous, hardy canes. A popular variety world wide, it is good for fresh eating, freezing, and processing. Will give one flush of fruit in early summer on last year's canes, and then another in late summer/early fall on this year's primocanes.

It is known to have some disease resistance. Offer afternoon shade in hotter climates, and avoid planting canes next to buildings where they could be stressed by reflected heat.

Cold Hardy to USDA Zone: 4

Mature Height:  5' (Small)

Sun: Full Sun to Part Shade in Hotter Climates

Ripening Time: August - October

Pollination: Self Fertile

DON"T buy these Heritage Raspberries!

I bought several, planted just the way they said to plant after watching the video, planted them on the same day they arrived. We have had 14" above normal rainfall and NONE of them came up at all! Won't try buying from Raintree again with such poor performance.

Raspberries

The berry sticks came perfect, they were wrapped and had some wet on the paper. I had exactly what I ordered. I have planted them but nothing yet

heritage raspberry plants

Ordered 5 plants from Raintree last spring. Had 100% success even harvested about 3 quarts of berries! Ordered 5 more plants this year. The delivery was delayed due to weather but when they arrived all was good! The roots even had fresh shoots on them! Got them in the ground right away and expect 100% success again this year. Thank you raintree! Wonderful berries! Had wasted three years trying to get another variety to produce that were purchased locally.

Rio Grande raspberry

Bought 5 plants last year, had 30+ stalks come up. Got a few raspberries. This year, I have 100+ stalks, and they are going crazy. Should have a great harvest this fall. Will have some liqueur for the Holidays. Thank you!
