Fragaria moschata

The musk, or hautbois strawberry, is a species of strawberry native to Europe. The plants are hardy and can survive in both cold winters and hot summers. Musk strawberries are cultivated commercially on a small scale, particularly in Italy. This variety, originally sourced from the national Germplasm Repository in Corvallis, OR, blooms at the same time as Capron females.

One male plant will provide pollination for up to five female plants, which will increase fruit harvest substantially. Sold in a 4" pot.
