Talk about a stunning edible ornamental! Atomic Red produces amazing RED flowers that make the tree like a beacon in your landscape. But Atomic Red is more than flowers, as it also provides a good mid-season crop of medium-to-large, white-fleshed, flavorful nectarines. Not completely freestone, but close.

    Non-existant. You will need to treat the tree annually or keep it under cover during spring rains.

Absolutely Delicious

Planted one of these three years ago. This was the first year where we had fruit (8 of them). The nectarines were absolutely delicious. Wonderful flavor.

Amazing Tree

I planted this tree in the Spring 2020. This year, I had beautiful red flowers, and now, I have these little fruits all over the tree. I have 26 fruit trees and thought this was one of my cherry trees. After verification what tree I planted where, It was this tree! I do not know what the fruit will taste like, so I'll give an update later this year. Thanks Raintree Nursery!
