Lonicera caerulea 'Berry Smart Belle'

Blue Belle blooms early and bears good crops of large, oval, deep blue, tasty berries on a 5'-6' bush with a spreading habit. For growers in colder regions who have a regularly late spring that warms up and stays warm, this is the variety for you!

Plants form an arching mound in the landscape. Prefers full sun in cooler summer areas, and morning sun in locations with more summer heat. Pollinize with another early-bloomer like Berry Blue or Blue Bird.

Beautiful berries and customer service

I ordered 2 varieties of honey berries. They were beautiful and healthy. I will be preordering sea buckthorn to plant when they are ready. I was in a hurry to get my edible forest going after most rain trees plants were sold out, so they sent me to another nursery that might meet my needs. The plants from the other nursery were healthy, but much smaller. I did know what I was getting and they were healthy. They were less expensive because of the size. Thank you Rain Tree for this recommendation. I will be ordering from both these nurseries again.
