This fascinating new edible ornamental is the first to provide a tasty crop of dainty blueberries each July from its spring flowers and then flower at the tips of branches and yield a second crop in September through till fall frosts.
Perpetua® grows 4'-5' tall, with dark green foliage that sports red tips, then turns deep burgundy in the fall and persists until spring. Developed at Oregon State University in 2005, as a cross of the species angustifolium and corymbosum. The vase-shaped bush is hardy, disease resistant and widely adapted.
