Early Elberta Peach
Prunus persica 'Early Elberta'
This improved Early Elberta Peach variety offers fragrant pink flowers in early spring, with fruit ripening two weeks earlier than its parent. It is popular among commercial canners for its large, oblong, golden-yellow fruit with a bright color and excellent flavor. It ripens from late June to early August, making it a great mid-season choice. Gleason strain.
Grafted to the very disease-resistant German semi-dwarf rootstock Pumiselect. Fruit may not fully ripen in short or cool summer areas.
