This apple rootstock can be maintained at only four to six feet in height. It is well suited for growing in a container or a small yard. Trees grafted on EMLA 27 bear early and heavily. It needs staking. It is hardy to -25 deg. F. This rootstock is patented and it may not be reproduced without permission of the patent holder.

  • What is the minimum order of root stock...I would only need about 10 at the most..thank you

    That is not a problem! We do not have a minimum order size on our rootstock.

excellent quality

I ordered 40 of these and am currently grafting the scions I'm testing. I found these rootstocks to be very well rooted, long and easy to work with (cut whip/tongue). Really couldn't be better.

We'll see how well the rootstock works for potted trees but that's independent of the product quality.
