Produces a semi-dwarf apple tree from 11-16 feet tall. Trees can begin bearing in 3-4 years. It is cold hardy to -35 degrees F. and does well on wet soils. Suckers need to be removed each year. May need ongoing support if site is windy and fruit loads are large.

All rootstocks are roughly 1/4" diameter, approximately pencil-size.

Root stock to big

I have 2 of 10 that are pencil sized and 18 inches above ground, the rest are way to big for my cuttings here in North Central Wisconsin, there’s 2 that are over 3/8 of an inch thick and were rooted that thick and I asked for smaller ones, this is not Seattle.

i have grafted 4 trees from the rootstock after 1 week they're looking great, i will not make a final judgement untill 6 weeks have passed. fingers crossed they stay looking great.
