Forsythia x intermedia 'Courtasol'

This charming dwarf, spreading bush is much more compact and upright than the typical soft, arching branches of forsythia. One of the earliest spring blooms! Masses of sunny yellow trumpets create a wash of brilliant, vivid sunshine to brighten any dreary spring day, and will certainly spread joy among early foraging insects and birds.

Each individual plant will grow to approximately 20" tall and spread up to 4' as a drift. Plant in full to part sun; flowers more profusely in sun. Not picky about soil fertility and drought tolerant once established. Flowers may be damaged by extreme cold weather in lowest part of range if extreme lows coincide with bloom time. USDA zones 5-8
