Prunus persica 'Harken'

This is the best-flavored peach to grow in our cool summer climate. From Canada, hardy and widely adapted. It is very sweet and bears a regular crop of medium-to-large, freestone peaches. Strong red blushing over yellow skin and creamy yellow flesh make for a beautiful and delectable taste treat. For canning, pick fruit before it is table ripe, and enjoy the ease of working with the non-browning fruit.

Harken is Peachy

Growing nicely! It just got pruned and not a rude word out of it, so I went ahead and sprayed it with a fungicide and Neem oil too!
