Fragaria ananassa 'Honeoye'

Honeoye a June-bearer from the Cornell Research Station, where it has been a top variety for over 30 years. A hybrid of Vibrant and Holiday, Honeoye combines winter hardiness, high productivity, bright color, and large berry size. I planted these in 2024 and they are finally producing in 2025. These are the most abundant strawberries I’ve grown! Very productive, large mostly firm fruit and very sweet. We will be freezing some to enjoy later. The kids love them too!

Great service

Arrived in a timely manner, soaked all 25 bareroots for 24hrs and they all perked up, so far all survived transit. Planted all, now to wait and see them grow

Slow delivery

Took 2 months for order 2 arrive. When ordered in mid march our existing strawberries already have come back to life. When our order arrived in mid may temps were in 80s in SC and soon to be approaching 90. Concerned they will bake and die.
