Very impressive so far

This plant shipped in early spring 2022, and with all the crazy weather we have been having, it shipped right before a long span of super cold, hard freezing weather, so most of the plant had been frozen hard. The other rugosa in the box did not survive, but, Jubilee survived and then thrived. Then it had to endure 2 weeks of over 100 degrees, and more really hot weather, but it came though shining. When it started blooming I was stunned how gorgeous the flowers were, because I bought it for hips. It set hips immediately after blooming and the hips are growing large quickly. This is super impressive not only because it is planted where it only gets about 3 or 4 hours of sun a day, but also because 2 other rugosas planted next to it but a year earlier have not set any hips yet!! I'm out here on the website because I want to order another - I am really impressed even though I have not tasted the hips yet. The blossoms and vigor and beautiful disease free foliage are worth it. If this site allows updates, I'll update when I have tasted the hips and I'll post a photo of the hips when they are ripe. Raintree note: Sorry to say this but I noticed your photo does not do the flowers justice (but at least it is the right plant - some places show photos for different plants!) You can use the photos I post, or, I have more if you want a different photo.

inconsistent

I don't know if it is the plant or conditions, but I loved the first plant so much and since I moved I ordered a second some months later. The second plant is not as impressive as the first was but it may be because the conditions are different.
