Malus domestica 'King Edward VII'

Named in 1902 after the new English monarch and grown since in English gardens as an outstanding fresh eating and cooking apple. This Blenheim Orange x Golden Noble cross flowers very late so it can miss late frosts. The very large, yellow-green fruit ripens in early October and cooks to a firm, well-flavored, translucent cream puree.

Scab resistant and late ripener.
