Kokuso Korean Mulberry

Excellent root system and they planted well. Watering deep so the roots acquire a strong foundation and superb fruit production in the coming years.

I purchased a few varieties: Illinois everbearing-which didnt survive late spring frost and now suckers from root(unsure if was grafted to let grow), the beautiful day white mulberry-which grew much slower than the others but is filling out beautifully, and this. What an awkward tree. It came as a single long stick/whip. Never ended up branching, but finally leaves covered it. Its 9ft+ tall and has zero limbs, just a tall weird stick. No fruit, no limbs and I planted in 2022 and its Aug of 2023. I would not buy this one again. I am on the border of 6b/7a
