Madeleine Angevine Grape
Vitis vinifera 'Madeleine Angevine'
Prohibited to OR, ID and NY.
This golden-yellow, thin-skinned grape consistently ripens in the Pacific Northwest and does well in areas with cooler summers. It's a heavy producer that makes an excellent white Reisling-type wine, with citrus aromas, and notes of apricot or peach, and honey. It ripens early October, and consistently produces in areas with 1600 GDD and below. Grows in USDA Zone 5-9.
