  • Is the OHxF87 rootstock large enough caliper to graft or does it need to be grown out for a year first?

    The rootstock is roughly 1/4" in caliper and ready to graft with compatible scionwood.

Great, healthy rootstocks

Rootstocks arrived well packaged and appeared very healthy. Hoping my rare Taylor's Gold pear grafts take.

OH-87 pear rootstock

Unfortunately my review is not going to be good at all. All the rootstock came with very few roots most had none but a bear stick which was called the roots.
However I grafted each and every one of them, however to no one's surprise not a single one of them survived. By mid supper they all had died which also means that all my scion wood was wasted and I have nothing to show for all my time and energy put into grafting the pears.
I do not take delight in giving a negative review however I cannot in good faith give this product anything but a negative review.
