Rubus fruticosus 'Osage'

Osage blackberry is the 13th cultivar of thornless blackberry to come out the University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture. They keep getting better and better! This variety exhibits high disease resistance, drought tolerance, and adaptability to many soil types. Osage is an easy-to-grow berry bred to take thornless blackberry flavor to the next level! The delicious, medium-sized berries ripen midseason.

It tolerates heat and humidity, making it a top choice for Southern gardens. Grows 4-10 ft. tall with a 3-4 ft. spread and very erect form. Self-pollinating.

Amazing berries

Took 3 years to really start producing a good crop, but these berries are incredible. Huge, sweet, disease free, no fuss, no thorns. The only thing is they like to grow super super long. I recommend trellising them.
