Malus domestica 'Pink Pearl'

Surprise your family and friends with this flavorful, aromatic yellow apple. Take one bite to discover that the flesh inside is BRIGHT PINK. Use it to make a beautiful pink applesauce or to add color to fruit salads. Although the tree is susceptible to scab, we have found that it is worth growing anyway. Developed in California by noted horticulturist Albert Etter, it ripens in late September.

  • I live in Vancouver, Washinngton State. I like Pink Pearl apples. Are there any 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 apple trees with Pink Pearl?

    We do not have any Pink Pearl scions on our combination trees, but we will consider it in the future!

  • Do you have any knowledge on the heat tolerance of this apple?

    Moderate to good. Pink Pearl was developed in Humbolt county in Northern California.

  • In the picture online, it looks like pink pearl is a spur bearing apple. Is that correct?

    Yes. Pink Pearl bears like most apples, via spurs on older wood.

I fist heard of these trees from FB. I went on line to order this tree. It was in the off season. Raintree took my order and promised delivery for the up coming season. It arrived at the start of season. No hassles with order, delivery. I was happy with everything. I ordered a second tree. I would buy from them again.
