Combo Pluot Tree (4 varieties)
A Pluot is a plum-apricot hybrid that skews 75 percent towards the plum. Different varieties have varying fruit skin colors, ranging from yellow to red, resulting in a beautiful combination tree. The fruit is of excellent quality, incredibly sweet, similar to a plum, with an apricot aftertaste. It ripens in July. The four varieties are the new Dapple Dandy, Flavor Queen, Flavor King, and Flavor Supreme. The tree is self-fertile and will pollinate early ripening Japanese plums. These super sweet, patented introductions by Floyd Zaiger are recommended for USDA Zones 6-9. They require only 600 hours of chilling and thrive in areas where hot summers bring out their incredible sweetness and complex flavor (excluding Western Washington)
Please Note: We cannot guarantee a specific variety request for combo trees due to the numerous factors that can affect successful grafting. If you desire a specific varietal, we recommend purchasing it as a single-graft tree from our collection.
