Pokeys Pink Flowering Currant
Ribes Sanguineum 'Pokeys Pink'
Named for Portland plantswomen Pokey Bayliss, this attractive form of one of our most ornamental native shrubs was originally found growing in the Columbia Gorge; pendulous clusters of clear-pink flowers flushed with white appear in early spring, a very welcome sight for gardeners and pollinators alike! Stunning pale pink blossoms in long, pendant clusters. An elegant, deciduous shrub that attracts wildlife, especially hummingbirds.
