Ramsey is a great early-blooming and early-ripening variety that can even produce freuit here in the PNW! Ramsey pineapple guava fruits tend to be slightly larger than other varieties. Like quince, pineapple guavas can vary significantly in their flavor profiles making them an amazing plant that can fit any taste! Pineapple guava is has developed something of a cult-like following of enthused collectors eager to get their hands on the latest varieties.
The beautiful, sweet, cotton candy flowers make this one of the coolest plants we have come across for those in similar temperate climates. Hardy to around 10 degrees. Ramsey is self-fertile and is early-ripening, making it good for even more temperate climates with shorter growing seasons.
