A very heavy producer of pungent, delicious, glossy dark red, oval fruit 1 1/4 inches long. Makes great preserves. An outstanding edible ornamental. The tree grows to 10'- 15' and has gorgeous yellow spring flowers. Needs another Cornus Mas variety as a pollinizer.

new to northern n.h.

trees arrived well packed and still damp. put them in mussier water gel over night planted them next day. when done i used the gel to put around them as it is a water draws water. hope they do well.
